A unique combination of driving and teaching experience
I qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) in 2005, initially working with regional and national driving schools before setting up my own driving school in 2009.
In 2012 I changed direction to work as a driver for First Bus in Bristol before joining their bus driver academy in 2015. Another diversion in 2020 saw me driving tipper trucks, moving tarmac and aggregates from quarries to building sites, and then car transporters, moving new vehicles from docks to dealers.
I’ve been back teaching learners since 2023, with pupils benefitting from a probably unique combination of over 10 years’ driver training experience, in buses as well as cars, along with my extensive driving experience (I also hold a motorbike licence).
